Available Positions:

Event Assistant Internship

Job Functions

• Assist with event coordination through the planning stages to ensure that all logistics are

executed on designated day of events

• Act as a liaison between Event Manager, clients, suppliers and other staff to ensure that event

details and tasks are completed in a timely manner

• Assist with décor planning and set-up on designated day of events

• Serve as hostess or server on designated day of events as needed

• Assist with breakdown and clean on designated day of events

*Other Duties on as needed basis

• Assist in daily operations and administrative needs for the business including data management

and filing

• Assist with business development, marketing and advertising

• Assist with managing all company social media pages by making weekly posting related to

business with photos of recent events, specials offers, monthly event planning tips/blog

• Handling customers service calls, inquiries and requests as assigned

• Dealing with incoming email, faxes and corresponding on behalf of the manager

• Attend client meetings as requested or as needed

• Perform other duties as requested

Job Requirements

• Flexible weekly schedule with weekends and some evenings

• Required to work part-time on a On Call basis for all events

• Computer/Laptop and reliable transportation needed

• Independent Worker/Self Starter

• Excellent Interpersonal Skills

• Verbal & Written Communication Skills

• Computer Proficient in Microsoft Office Suites: word, power point, & excel

• Social Media Marketing and Blogging experience preferred

• Event Planning interest and experience preferred

• College degree or certification in event planning preferred
